Where Were You the Night of April 4, 1968?
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis at 6:01 Central Standard Time (7:01 Eastern Standard Time--there was no Daylight Savings Time back then) on April 4, 1968..
