Memorial flowers hang on a fence outside 937 Dale St., where Jarrett Hughes, 24, was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon. Kingsport police have said at least four people were inside the home when the incident occurred, with the suspect or suspects running from the residence and leaving the area in a vehicle. A motive or persons of interest have yet to be publicly identified. The investigation is continuing.
