Children playing to beat the heat at the Splash Pad, which is an automated, jungle-themed water playground, located at 1101 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Kingsport.
Long-time residents will recognize the Splash Pad as the site of the old Riverview Swimming Pool.
There is no admission charge to the Splash Pad, which is open through the summer.
