KINGSPORT — Shiloh Baptist Church will commemorate its 75th church anniversary with special worship services at 10:45 a.m. and 3 p.m., Sunday.
Organized in 1936, Shiloh has been led by six pastors that included almost 50 years of leadership by the Rev. C. Dorsey and the Rev. J. Bratton Gaines.
The congregation has been led by the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Calvert for the past 20 years.
The Rev. Dr. Linda W. Calvert will give the morning anniversary message. Special music will be provided by Mr. Christmas Martin.
Rev. C.C. Mills, Jr. will deliver the afternoon message, and music will be provided by the Friendship Baptist Church, Greeneville.
Dinner will follow the morning service. The church is located at 712 E. Sevier Ave.
